Position Description
Reporting to the VP, Sporting Operations, the Team Administrator, WNT, ensures that the day-to-day operational environment for players, coaches, and staff meets the standard of care for a world-class sports team. This position focuses on logistical preparation, daily team operations, and administrative processes for the WNT. In team environments, this position functionally reports to the Team Manager, WNT and Program Director, WNT.  

Primary Responsibilities 
  • Works closely with the Team Manager, WNT, and Program Director, WNT on executing of all operational aspects for the WNT
  • Interface with venue, transportation, logistics staff regularly and support with communication with FIFA, USOPC, CONCACAF, and tournament organizers as needed
  • Coordinate all aspects of planning and execution of day-to-day team operations and logistics
  • Manage delegation travel such as flights & ground transportation services
  • Compile and submit expenses, invoices, and reimbursements for network staff
  • Work with WNT Analytics and Talent Identification to organize scouting logistics and planning for WNT staff and network scouts for domestic and international matches
  • Assist in WNT onboarding procedures and compliance for network staff
  • Advance the team to venues and charter flights and prepare all hotel, training sites, and ground transportation for team arrival 
  • Along with Team Manager, WNT and Program Director, WNT, conduct site inspections on future venues to ensure hotel, meals, and training facilities meet WNT standards 
  • Primarily serve as the Team Administrator, WNT and may assist other National Team Operations
  • Other related duties and assignments as required

Minimum Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in team operations for club, league, and/or national teams
  • General knowledge of soccer
  • Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments 
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritize workflow
  • Experience in managing a budget, travel (domestic and international), and operations for an elite sports team 
  • Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work and execute under pressure and deadlines
  • Detailed-oriented and meticulous work style 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication combined with a professional demeanor
  • Excellent work ethic and relentless desire to contribute to the team’s success on the field
  • Uncompromising ethical standards, trustworthy and discreet 
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Able and willing to travel up to 70% of the year, domestic and international 
  • Able and willing to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
