FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Range: $21.63 - $23.80 per hour ($45,000 – $49,500 annual equivalent)
Reports To: Constituent Care Manager
 
Position Summary 
The Event Services Coordinator is responsible for providing a high level of service to key constituents at USA Triathlon including Members, Race Directors, Coaches, Officials, and Clubs. This role will support the Constituent Care team in all aspects of service related to events including responding to emails, answering phone calls, processing memberships, and providing best-in-class support to our members.
 
Essential Job Functions
  • Respond in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner to email and voicemail inquiries through various communication channels. Provide a high level of customer service to create positive experiences in challenging circumstances.
  • Facilitate the event sanctioning process end-to-end, from the submission of the application to the delivery of post-race documents. Review and process event sanction applications and ensure that each eligible application complies with all applicable sanctioning requirements.
  • Serve as a contact for race directors and other key constituents on event-related inquiries. 
  • Proactively communicate directly with race directors on the status of their applications, missing information, and compliance. 
  • Format and upload race results to the official results site. Work with USAT’s rankings team to answer questions about results and qualifications.
  • Meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment as part of a team atmosphere. Coordinate and communicate effectively with members of other departments.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, skillful at creating professional documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and managing email communications.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Prefer: Some experience in sales or customer service 
  • Prefer: Some experience in triathlon or multisport

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
  • Some evening, holiday, and/or weekend work, as needed
  • 5% Travel required
