General Purpose:
USA Wrestling is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to assist with a variety of digital marketing projects that positively impact the organization, our members, and our athletes. The person in this position will coordinate digital marketing campaigns that focus on USA Wrestling’s membership and related product offerings, national and regional events, corporate partnerships, and brand identity. This is a full-time, in-person position located at our Colorado Springs, Colo., office.
Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the design and execution of digital marketing campaigns to meet or exceed acquisition, retention and engagement goals.
- Optimize the USA Wrestling digital marketing mix across owned, earned and paid digital channels (websites, branded social media, email, paid social media, paid search, paid display, affiliates, third party, etc.).
- Oversee the creation of campaign assets across USA Wrestling digital marketing channels. Asset creation to include copywriting, graphic design, photo/video creation and email design.
- Assist in strategy development for audience segmentation, targeting and positioning with the aim of enhancing USA Wrestling customer lifecycle.
- Assist in the management and optimization of performance marketing budget to maximize ROI.
- Implement innovative digital marketing tactics such as A/B testing, personalization and automation to enhance digital marketing campaign results.
- Analyze digital marketing campaign performance and effectively report findings/results to internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain internal digital marketing campaign calendar and manage cross-departmental digital marketing requests.
- Coordinate with media partners, affiliated clubs, state associations, corporate sponsors, athletes, coaches, and community influencers on digital marketing-related projects.
- Continued development of professional skillset and explore new creative techniques to elevate the USA Wrestling brand through digital marketing activities.
- Handle other duties as assigned by USA Wrestling leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Advertising, etc.)
- A minimum of two-years relevant professional experience with a focus on digital marketing.
- Experience managing campaign-level work through Customer Relationship Management tools, branded social media channels and third-party advertising platforms.
- A working knowledge of and experience with creator tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Experience with Google Analytics, UTM application, Microsoft Excel and other campaign reporting tools a plus.
- The ability to write effective, short form copy for various types of digital marketing activities including social media and email.
- A proven understanding of current digital marketing trends with an eye on remaining ahead of the curve.
Travel Expectations
Domestic and international travel, including weekends and holidays, is required.
Salary Range
Compensation commensurate with experience.
$55,000-$65,000 per year
