Game Night Photographer
The National Lacrosse League is searching for freelance individuals that are passionate about sports photography and the game of lacrosse. The Game Night Photographer will be primarily responsible for assisting our Marketing department on game days by shooting and developing content from all NLL games through the 2024-25 season (December-June).
The NLL needs individuals who can attend every home game for the NLL franchise in the following markets:
- Albany, NY
- Duluth, GA
- Ottawa, ON
- Rochester, NY
The Game Night Photographer will need to work nights and weekends. Applicants should be familiar with photography, videography, content creation and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. All applicants must be prepared to follow local and venue COVID policies in addition to any NLL policies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to shoot and edit professional photos within an indoor fast-action sports setting
- Ability to compensate for lower-light situations
- Must provide own equipment
- Must be highly self-motivated and have high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills required
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule
- Must be able to attend all home games for their respective market (and potential playoff games).
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and plan the composition of photographs and video. This includes self-direction, planning and
researching the optimal locations for the best shots.
- Use photographic techniques and lighting equipment to ensure professional quality images and videos.
- Use different techniques to enhance the photographs as required.
- Compile and upload content in a timely manner.
- Work with and assist member clubs in day-to-day social media requests.
