Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Produces digital print jobs
  • Performs light bindery work such as trimming, laminating and hole-punching
  • Schedules jobs by due dates indicated or as requested by management
  • Coordinating copier maintenance when necessary and notifies management
  • Maintains monthly copier usage log
  • Operates all equipment in accordance with equipment operating procedures
  • Performs maintenance per the guidelines on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Communicates with other employees and/or the customer for a complete understanding of the copy order
  • Orders and stocks inventory and supplies at the direction of management
  • Follows systems and procedures according to the company manuals
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • An understanding of digital printers, their functions and processes
  • Good math skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to follow written instructions for machine set-up and maintenance
  • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing and able to work in an environment that includes exposure to ink and chemical fumes, airborne particles (dust, drying powder, etc.), and loud noise levels
  • Able to stand for long periods of time (up to an entire shift)
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Education & Formal Training:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency

Experience:

  • 2 or more years of experience

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office hours Monday-Friday
