Carolina Core FC is an independent MLS Next Pro club based in High Point, NC. The club is currently seeking a Merchandise Coordinator to assist its MLS NEXT Pro Marketing Department. 
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer 
 
Position Overview: Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of merchandise/retail 
  • Process online orders and shipments 
  • Create and maintain organized systems for merchandise/retail 
  • Inventory Management: receiving, restocks, track movements and inventory levels. 
  • Prepare orders for internal CCFC departments: sponsorship, consignment, events, etc. 
  • Ability to set up attractive product displays in-store and at activations or events. 
  • Create training materials for retail staff to increase revenue and build strong team members.  
  • Manage retail team- schedules, training and duties 
  • Activations: schedule staff, manage inventory needs and operational duties  
  • Exceptional Customer Service: maintain positive and meaningful engagement, overcome customer service obstacles. 
  • Work with upper management on selling strategies and campaigns to increase revenue. 
  • Build the CCFC brand, customer base and revenue 
  • Other items can include any tasks and projects associated with CCFC and the merchandise department 
 

Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Retail sales experience 
  • Extremely organized and has attention to detail 
  • Self-Starter and collaborative  
  • Excellent leadership skills 
  • Basic knowledge of Shopify and skilled in Excel  
  • Positive attitude and is outgoing  
  • Trustworthy- internally and in customer relations 
  • Ability to complete projects and meet deadlines  
  • Exceptional communication skills- written and verbal 
  • Must be able to work some weekends and nontraditional hours
