The North Carolina Football Club, owner and operator of two affiliated professional soccer teams: the North Carolina Courage (NWSL) and North Carolina FC (USL Championship), is seeking seasonal Game Day Staff for the remainder of the 2024 season. This position will serve to create a successful fan experience both the NC Courage and NCFC teams, by executing on game day operations and being a customer service agent for the in-game fan experience, with the overall goal of growing and strengthening the Club's connection with our fan base. This position is a seasonal position, with hourly pay paid out twice a month. All shifts will be onsite, at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC. Our season started at the beginning of March 2024, but we are looking for additional help for the fall, starting now through the first week of November 2024.


KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • The Game Day Staff are split into a variety of positions: Ushers, Ticket Scanners, Premium Area Attendants, Parking Lot Attendants, Merchandise Associates, and Ops Crew, which includes all set-up and tear down and working as fan fest, field support, and support as a ticket scanner during the game. 
  • Game Day Staff are responsible for providing excellent customer service for all fans, staff, and patrons attending NC Courage and NCFC Men's soccer games. 
  • The Game Day Staff are responsible for the set-up and tear down of the stadium for events held at WakeMed Soccer Park; including suites, party decks, tents, staging equipment, barricades, field equipment, merchandise stands, entry/exit points, and other related game-day elements.  
  • All employees must practice safe work habits to ensure event production on game days is as efficient and safe as possible. 
  • Game Day Staff will provide feedback in an efficient way to leadership, including but not limited to entry and exit efficiency, seat assignment, ticket sales, merch sales, janitorial services, equipment management, stadium structure, etc. to ensure game day improvements throughout the season. 

QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends based on the event schedule. Game schedules can be found for both teams online. 
  • Must be able to work at least 75% of the remaining home games for both the NCFC and NC Courage teams throughout the 2024 season.  
  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.  
  • Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, fans, and other office staff.  
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.  
  • Provide excellent customer service and interactions with fans to ensure they are maximizing their game day experience enjoyment.  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met or may be encountered by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
