Sports Field & Grounds Specialist
The mission of the Sports Field & Grounds Specialist is to produce elite playing surfaces that are safe and athletically pleasing for matches, trainings and special events. This position will report to the Director, Stadium Grounds and work with the Associate Directors (2), Stadium Grounds to oversee a bermudagrass stadium pitch, two bermudagrass training pitches, one synthetic pitch and surrounding landscape.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Assist the Associate Director, Stadium Grounds with pitch maintenance program to include, mowing, lining rolling, fertilizing, aeration, topdressing, and pesticide applications
Regularly communicate with the Associate Director, Stadium Grounds, coaches, sports performance, training, facility and management staff
Oversee Pitch Testing Program
Responsible for overseeing all CITY2 matches
Be main point of contact with CITY Academy
Oversee maintenance on CITY Academy synthetic pitch
Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment
Be an ambassador for the soccer club and share in its vision and values. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Turfgrass Management or related field preferred.
Experience with professional or college sports preferred
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have a sense of accountability.
Ability to work productively under pressure and be consistently proactive.
Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
Ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays when required. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
