TITLE: Event Operations Assistant
DEPARTMENT: Stadium Operations & Events
REPORTS TO: Stadium Operations Director
CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time (Seasonal)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Charleston Battery is looking for enthusiastic and driven candidates to join our team as Event Operations Assistants. In this role, you'll be essential in enhancing the fan experience during matchdays and events, making a significant impact on our organization.
This role will directly support the stadium operations and events department in the execution of events at Patriots Point Soccer Stadium. Individuals in this role should be extremely organized, action-oriented, responsible, and have the ability to think on their feet.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist/Facilitate the operations department with setup/breakdown of all Charleston Battery home games.
- Provide the highest level of customer service to ensure guests’ expectations are met and exceeded while providing a positive and memorable experience.
- Assist as needed within the fan experience, food & beverage, and operations departments.
- Problem solve in a fast paced/high-pressure environment.
- Other duties as assigned by Stadium Operations Coordinator/Director.
Requirements
- Available for ALL Charleston Battery home matches, with exceptions upon request.
- Strong people and communication skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Ability to stand and be outside in hot or inclement weather.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- May include moving and lifting objects that exceed 50 lbs.
