Job Overview
This role will be responsible for promoting the club through owned assets and earned media. The position will include management of marketing campaigns, website and social media content focused around Hartford Athletic Youth Academy and supporting the Hartford Athletic First Team and other events held at Trinity Health Stadium. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of soccer, a foundation in marketing and communications, the ability to produce creative and innovative content around the Hartford Athletic Youth Academy and Hartford Athletic First Team that drives engagement of the brand.

Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include
  • Assist leadership in the development of a brand position and a consistent brand message through all internal and external forms of communication, including digital media and content, game operations, events and fan communications
  • Attend and work Hartford Athletic Academy events, matches and training sessions
  • Attend and work Hartford Athletic home matches and events at Trinity Health Stadium
  • Coordinates the development of marketing materials for Hartford Athletic, Academy, Hartford Athletic events and events at Trinity Health Stadium and strategizes how to best implement marketing for each event
  • Monitor and analyze marketing promotion results to determine effectiveness of each promotion campaign
  • Help maintain and update Hartford Athletic Academy social media platforms and websites
  • Pitch content ideas
  • Perform research on popular trends
  • Create and execute social media contests and promotions

Key Qualities
  • Must have a strong knowledge of soccer
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate
  • Experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
  • Experience with Adobe Suite including, but not limited to, Photoshop and Premier
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays on an as-needed basis as well as for match days, academy events and Trinity Health Stadium events
  • Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required
