ABOUT THE POSITION
As the Changeover / Conversion Crew, you will play a prominent role within our organization, contributing to the creation of unforgettable memories for our patrons. 

This position shall assist in the production, setup, and execution of all events for the Tampa Bay Sun FC  Events and Facilities Department.

JOB SUMMARY, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Responsible for set up and tear down of various events, such as soccer, football, events, which involves LED boards, glass, staging, tables, chairs, etc
  • Work cooperatively with all staff members
  • Assure the health, safety, and security of co-workers and guest by following all safety procedures and rules and OSHA standards
  • Maintain all equipment in excellent working order including preventative maintenance.  
  • Monitor and report to the manager any discrepancies, damage, loss of property, safety concerns
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance on operations department equipment, keep work areas and equipment organized and functional.
  • Works safely, quickly, and efficiently to meet all deadlines.
  • Possess a team player mentality; must be able to adapt to changes and work in a multi-client environment.

  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. and load/unload up to 100lbs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years experience working in fast paced live event productions and sports preferred
  • Prior experience in an arena, stadium, convention center, or like venue is recommended but not required
  • Knowledge of various audio equipment (microphones, sound recording devices, speaker systems, etc.)
  • Experience with video streaming services and live event production preferred
  • Ability to setup rooms by interpreting diagrams and follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail and last-minute updates or requests
  • Must be willing to learn new Audio/Video operations and workflows
  • Must have proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and strong organizational skills
  • Must be flexible with working long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Good physical condition and health, sufficient strength and stamina needed for heavy, awkward and repeated lifting of up to 100 pounds, capable of performing heavy manual labor for extended period.
  • Ability to climb portable and fixed ladders.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperature changes from outdoor heat to outdoors inclement weather.
  • Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to bend, kneel and work with arms raised for prolonged periods of time.
  • Occasional working at heights above 10 ft.
  • Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust.
