Join our diverse and growing Accounting & Finance team at PrizePicks. This role reports to the Accounting Senior Manager and is based in Atlanta, GA, with potential for flexible work arrangements.

What you’ll do:

Prepare recurring & non-recurring journal entries
Enhance the company's balance sheet reconciliations and related support
Review deferred expense and income items, e.g. prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, depreciation, and amortization schedules and prepare related balance sheet reconciliations
Review AP Aging reconciliation, monitor unpaid and missing items
Collaborate with external accountants on audits and tax preparation
Recommend quick win process/procedural changes and controls with high cost-benefit
Identify process improvements and risk areas
Contribute to special projects as needed

What you have:

2-3 years of audit or public accounting experience (essential)
Additional 1+ years of relevant work experience in technology (e.g., e-commerce, software, internet gaming) is beneficial
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Progress toward CPA designation if degree is not in accounting
Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work through ambiguity
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
Familiarity with data-rich business intelligence environments
Understanding of U.S. GAAP
Experience with mid-market ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct) is a plus
