Scouting Heroes is an in-venue and in-office live data collection agency that utilizes proprietary technology to be first-in-class in terms of both latency and accuracy. Our multi-layered approach includes an in-office basketball analyst team. Our emphasis on real-time, low-latency data allows our partners to unlock new levels of fan-engagement opportunities and in-play gaming. As we continue to expand into other sports and diversify our offerings, the basketball analyst position will play a pivotal role ensuring we provide the most accurate data to each of our partners. Scouting Heroes HQ is in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Independent Contractor position. Contractorship begins with training in September, and runs through June 2025. Hours available are dependent upon the basketball season. Therefore we are looking for people able to work nights on weekdays and early afternoon and nights on the weekends. All hours worked are in Raleigh office located in central Raleigh. This is NOT a remote position.
JOB PURPOSE
Monitor/Analyze basketball games in our centralized office. This role is critical to ensuring the highest-level of accuracy, speed and integrity of our data inputs. As a Basketball Monitoring Analyst, you will provide data for basketball games. Effective data entry skills, communication, and troubleshooting is needed to maximize performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Be organized. Organization and training are critical to prepare for fast-paced, high intensity situations. You are constantly wanting to improve and understand the importance of training.

- Provide feedback. Collect detailed information during assigned games to evaluate performance & help scouts improve.
