Job Description
The Club Volo Commissioner is responsible for maintaining Volo standards at all leagues, pickups, and events at the Club Volo location. See responsibilities listed below.

Venue Supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Oversee adult leagues and pickups, currently volleyball, but more to be added
  • Prepare the venue space for incoming leagues on a nightly basis:
    • Equipment, field lights, shirts, check in station
  • Maintain equipment, noting damages, and reporting to the market’s equipment lead
  • Gather up equipment, and lock storage
  • Check in players using the host app
  • Supervise on field hosts as needed
  • Step-in and host volleyball games when needed
  • Resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiency
  • Deescalate any situations that might arise 
  • Support trainings for the part-time hosts
  • Recruit, mentor, and ensure quality staff and product 
  • Promote sponsor bar, events and upcoming leagues via on-court selling
  • Help distribute marketing materials and assist with any brand activations
  • Execute fundraising activities for kids foundation with the support of league hosts
  • Encourage and maintain a quality experience throughout the league
  • Must be available at least 3 days each week (Monday-Friday) for at least 3 hours in the evening AND be available for shifts on 1-2 weekends per month 

Must-Haves
  • Willingness to learn our product and support training initiatives
  • Customer service experience, preferably in hospitality, entertainment and retail
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to multi-task and make decisions under pressure 
  • Ability to lift and carry 30-50 pounds
  • Possess a positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearly
  • Proficient customer service skills
  • High School Diploma /GED Equivalency
  • 21 years of age or older
