Job Description
Pro Skills Basketball (PSB) is a national premier youth basketball organization, and we are looking for coaches to lead our grade school club teams in Indianapolis for the upcoming Fall & Winter seasons!
PSB coaches are high-character individuals with a passion for mentoring, leading, and educating children as well as a strong knowledge of basketball. They form transformational relationships with players and parents that are about more than just basketball and are not simply transactional.
This is a paid part-time position with on-court hours performed via two evening practices per week (75 minute practices) and games on the weekends. The season begins in October and runs through the end of February.
More hours are also available if you are willing and able to coach more than one team, and/or work other PSB workouts, clinics, and camps.

More About the Position
Team Coaches report directly to City General Managers and/or City Directors. For our best coaches, there is potential for growth and promotion inside and outside of PSB.

Our Team Coaches have the following responsibilities:
- Learn and adhere to PSB policies and procedures.
- Coach and develop players with a philosophy that aligns with PSB’s mission and values.
- Communicate regularly with team families concerning logistics and all team activities.
- Be consistently engaged with PSB stakeholders and address concerns quickly, with a positive attitude.
- Travel to various local practice gyms and tournaments as assigned.
- Work with PSB management to ensure that all events have appropriate PSB staff coverage in the event of an absence.
We will know the person is doing a great job if:
- Coach and PSB managers, directors, and coordinators work cohesively
- Feedback from parents is consistently positive
- Players improve on and off the court
- Players return for subsequent seasons

Necessary experience:
- High school basketball playing experience
- Previous coaching experience
